Jeff Beacher is a trailblazing showman and visionary producer who transformed the landscape of live, experiential entertainment with his iconic spectacle, Beacher's Madhouse—a boundary-pushing fusion of comedy, vaudeville, variety, and immersive theater that redefined the modern stage.
In June 2002, Beacher unveiled Beacher's Madhouse at the Paramount Theatre at Madison Square Gardens, to a sold-out, celebrity packed crowd, breathing new life into the comedy genre by seamlessly blending theater, performance art, comedians and old Hollywood vaudeville creating an exhilarating experience reminiscent of traditional circus performances.
Shortly after the sold-out success at the Garden, The Madhouse took Broadway by storm later that summer with the first ever residency at The Supper Club on 47th street and Broadway with consistently sold-out performances in an era predating social media dominance. Beacher's personal commitment to featuring diverse performers all sharing one stage remained a driving force throughout his career, setting a precedent of inclusivity in his performances.
In 2007, Beacher's captivating, unmatched showmanship captured the attention of Peter and Harry Morton, leading to a headlining role at Las Vegas' iconic Hard Rock Hotel as the youngest headliner in Vegas history. As one of the most impactful people in Vegas, the mayor gave him the key to the city. Within months, Rolling Stone Magazine gave him the title of "The Greatest Showman on the Strip," a moniker that no other performer has held since. Beacher's audacious promotional tactics, further elevated the Madhouse's profile, attracting celebrity guests and ensuring sold-out success for years.
Beacher promoted his show in an impromptu move still discussed to this day on the evening of the Billboard Music Awards. Masquerading as a maintenance worker, Beacher snuck into the Rainforest Cafe at The MGM Grand, the rival hotel of Hard Rock, and like something out of an espionage film, he had his female friend distract security while he proceeded to strip down to a speedo, and belly flop into their 10,000-gallon fish tank in front of thousands. Two of the onlookers happened to be none other than Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, whose appreciation led to further exposure of Beacher's Madhouse and resulted in the show being a sold-out phenomenon for years on end.
From 2008 to 2009, Jeff embarked on a groundbreaking national tour, captivating audiences in over 80 cities across the country. Every city featured a new, exciting, one-of-a-kind show, from comedy to a spectacular variety show, with surprise celebrity performers and the always a prestigious A-list guest list who donned the hottest costumes in celebration of an unforgettable evening that only Beacher himself could curate. When the nation was facing a devastating recession, Beacher provided the ultimate escapism with his spectacular live theater events that could never be replicated. He sold out venues of every scale—from intimate 500-person college venues, 2,000-seat casino and hotel theaters to sprawling arenas packed with over 20,000 fans. It was a whirlwind of success, energy, and nonstop performance with the ultimate showman Beacher himself at the helm.
Beacher's Madhouse quickly became a cultural phenomenon, drawing in the likes of Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, and many more. Following the celebrated, nationwide sold-out tour collaborating with other iconic tours of the time from the Warped Tour to the Mayhem Tour, the Madhouse was offered a prestigious residency at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, the iconic home of the first Academy Awards, transforming the historic Cinegrill Theater into a captivating speakeasy revue that redefined entertainment for Hollywood A-listers.
Before its grand unveiling, in 2010 Beacher's Madhouse opened its doors to host the exclusive premiere party for the Oscar nominated film, Black Swan, with director Darren Aronofsky and his producing partner Scott Franklin, who was Jeff's childhood friend from sleepaway camp. This iconic event marked Jeff's official debut on the Hollywood scene. Among the glittering array of A-list guests were Mila Kunis, and the film's other stars, each adding their star power to the night. The event became an instant legend, elevating the Madhouse to an unparalleled level of mystique and solidifying its place as the ultimate, must-attend spectacle in Hollywood.
After a series of private events, Beacher's Madhouse officially opened its doors to the public in March 2011, and from the moment the curtains rose, it was nothing short of legendary. The opening night unfolded like a scene ripped from the pages of a film script, with iconic A-list names like Mick Jagger in attendance to witness the spectacle. The Madhouse quickly became the pinnacle of exclusivity, drawing the world's most influential celebrities over the next few years— Paris and Nicky Hilton, Miley Cyrus, Kelly Osborne, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Eddie Murphy, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bieber, Zac Efron, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, and hundreds more—all packed into its vibrant, electric atmosphere. It was a living testament to Jeff Beacher's unrivaled ability to craft an experience that was not only exclusive and outrageous but truly unforgettable, setting a new standard for live, experiential theater with prestigious, celebrity-packed crowds.
Catapulting off its tremendous success and prestige in Hollywood, on December 27th, 2013, Beacher's Madhouse opened at MGM Grand in Las Vegas with a star-studded event, hosted alongside his close friend Miley Cyrus. This same week, Beacher was struck by tremendous tragedy when his long-time friend and mentor Jeff Pollack unexpectedly died. Beacher found himself lost, crying for days yet having to pick himself up to go to meetings in preparation of his highly anticipated opening. Fighting through the pain, Beacher still pulled off one of the greatest events in Vegas history, with a sold-out, larger than life show that was one for the record-books reminiscent to the iconic Rat Pack era of Hollywood. The unmatched guest list included dozens of celebrities from Paris and Nicky Hilton to Katy Perry and Selena Gomez.
Tangentially to this overwhelming success of the Madhouse, Jeff's health was failing, and he knew he had to make the difficult decision to take a step back and focus on getting healthy. In 2016, Beacher made the decision to depart from his 20-year residency at the MGM Grand, and lost a remarkable 200 pounds, embracing meditation and self-realization.
In 2017, Beacher's Madhouse refocused to intimate, invite-only revues exclusively for celebrity guests, allowing Beacher time for personal transformation. Through the years, his brand has not only endured an ever-evolving entertainment scene, but has become synonymous with the experience of "FUN"; a philosophy evident in every facet of Beacher's work. Now, at 175 pounds and looking better than ever, Jeff made the decision after a 10-year hiatus to relaunch Beacher's Madhouse in its newest vision and form.
In May 2024, Beacher relaunched Beacher's Madhouse as a live, experiential popup with sold out A-list crowds, the first being a three-night festival in partnership with Netflix. Beacher hosted the hottest invite-only events during the three-day Netflix is a Joke festival, including the "Roast master General" Jeff Ross' after-party following his roast of Tom Brady for the "Greatest Roast of All Time" and his sold-out solo show. Opening night was a celebration of friendship and innovation as Beacher began by giving celebrity icons and dear friends Ross, Paris and Nicky Hilton, and Kelly Osbourne special awards for their unwavering support. This was the inaugural set of awards for the iconic team of people who have supported and helped Beacher's theatrical wonderland come to life for decades. Beacher's award to Jeff Ross didn't stop the "Greatest Roaster of All-Time" from ruthlessly – and hilariously – mocking his best friend on stage for the sold-out crowd. As Beacher delivered his opening to the spectacle that was to come, Ross brutally heckled him. Still, he gave Beacher the credit he rightfully deserves, telling everyone, 'I may be the Roastmaster General but my buddy is the ringleader of the greatest circus on earth.' The next night, comedy king Kevin Hart followed his sold-out show at the Hollywood Bowl with a night at the Madhouse. Blending comedy, cabaret, burlesque and vaudeville for a mix of G-rated to ultra-spicy fun, each evening's performances ranged from celebrity look-alikes to a wacky contortionist, and a team of 20 talented and charming little person entertainers whose joy was contagious. The sold-out A-list crowd featured Beacher's longtime supporters and friends Paris and Nicky Hilton and Kelly Osbourne, Demi Lovato, Kevin Hart, Rita Ora, Taika Waititi, Khloe Kardashian, Wiz Khalifa, John Stamos, Lamorne Morris, Rebel Wilson and more.
For the next Beacher Fest, the legendary showman took over New Orleans with his star-studded theatrical spectacle which left the city buzzing after inviting an elite crowd of A-list celebrities, top-tier athletes, and industry power players for a night of jaw-dropping performances and unparalleled entertainment. "Roast Master General" Jeff Ross once again surprised the crowd as he took the stage to salute Beacher with two official proclamations declaring the day as Jeff Beacher Day; handed down directly from New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry. Just as the showman stepped into the spotlight to thank the crowd, Flavor Flav crashed the stage to hype up the room and gave Beacher the type of larger-than-life introduction that has become his trademark. The highlight of the night was a high-energy, one-night-only performance by none other than Cardi B who surprised the audience and took the stage by storm. Beacher's celebrity friends turned out in full force, such as Serena Williams, Cara Delevigne, Emma Roberts, Lala Anthony, Zac Efron, Quinta Brunson, and more.
In May 2025, Beacher hosted his new, annual pop-up Madhouse event returning to its iconic stomping grounds at the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. This year, Beacher launched his inaugural Beacher Vitality Happy and Healthy Summit as a new addition to Beacher Fest 2025.
